Checklist for Holiday Season Planning

If you run a seasonal business or a business that does extremely well in Q4, this post is for you.

Prepping for the holiday season can be an overwhelming task, which is why I’ve created a checklist of things you need to have in place before the sales start to bury you under an avalanche. 

1. Inventory Planning (plan far ahead based on last year’s Q4 sales as well as any substantial changes in your average sales this year vs. last)
2. Compliance (make sure you have and/all compliance documents needed for selling on specific platforms like Amazon so your listings don’t get shutdown at the most important time of year)
3. Staffing (make sure you have staff to help with the increased sales and customer service demands of Q4)
4. Advertising (plan out your Q4 advertising and marketing campaigns as soon as possible and start booking any media needed, b/c advertising gets more expensive and sells out this time of year.)
