Background:

• Came to New York from St. Louis to pursue acting and attended drama school at NYU.
• Started a theater company with friends from NYU after graduation.

Introduction to marketing:

• Discovered passion for marketing and PR while managing the theater company.
• First press release caught the attention of The New York Times.

Shift to marketing: 

• In 2014, decided to proactively pursue marketing.
• Started an internship that evolved into a full-time role as Director of Marketing for a Broadway Producer.

ENTREPRENEURIAL BUG: 

• In 2015, launched a custom coloring book business, Curious Custom.
• Grew the business into a six-figure venture, serving clients like Holland America, The Ritz Carlton, Compass, etc.

BROADWAY EXPERIENCE: 

• Worked on notable Broadway and Off-Broadway shows, including Once On This Island and Spring Awakening.
• Introduced to course creation, membership sites, and high-ticket programs.

PANDEMIC VENTURE LAUNCH: 

• In March 2020, turned passion for custom murder mysteries into a business. Initially aimed to provide work for out-of-work actors and creatives.
• Grew into a six-figure business with 25+ murder mystery party games and nationwide hosts.

MARKETING AGENCY LAUNCH: 

• In January 2021, left Dir. of Marketing position at Davenport Theatrical to start own Marketing Agency, Big Leap Brands.

The TheaterMakers Studio ACQUISITION:

• In May 2023, acquired The TheaterMakers Studio.
• The TheaterMakers Studio became my fourth six-figure business.

NOW:

• Through our mix of done-for-you services, group coaching programs, and courses, we offer a unique variety of solutions for Entrepreneurs, Producers, and Small Business Owners.
