Ever feel like you’re drowning?

Jul 27, 2022

You know those days (or months) when you feel like the work just piles up and you can’t catch your breath?

Me too!

Lately, I’ve had the incredible fortune to be drowning in opportunity. But opportunity comes with challenges too…from staffing shortages to time management struggles…

And with so much opportunity all around, I have to learn to say no.

But, saying no is so hard! I always want to be of service and share my expertise with others…I love helping other businesses grow and thrive…I love saying yes to vacations and days off in the summer…

But sometimes I just have to say no. In fact, I’ve set some rules for myself and asked my team to keep me accountable for following these rules when considering taking on new clients.

Because not every client or project is the right one for us to take on.

And no doesn’t have to be a bad word. It can be liberating and help you uplevel your life by surrounding yourself with people and projects you love that fulfill you.

So, think about all the opportunity in your life, be it with your business, career, personal life…and decide what you should say NO to.

Right now, I’m saying no to taking on new consulting clients. I just don’t have the time available with managing my three businesses, serving my existing clients and customers, and spending time with family.

But, if you want my help, opinion or advice, click here to sign up for my consulting waitlist.

No can also mean, not right now. I plan to open up consulting again later this year so be sure to join my waitlist to be the first to know when I have appointments available.
