The Lights Are Bright On Broadway ⭐💡
May 21, 2021
It's hard to believe Broadway went dark over a year ago. To me, Broadway is synonymous with New York City. Without Broadway, New York feels a little less sparkly. The pandemic ravaged the community I hold so dear, and it brings me great joy to see that there is a light at the end of the tunnel (Marquee lights, stage lights, ghost lights if you will.)
Folks in the Entertainment Industry have been looking forward to Broadway reopening for countless days, months, and weeks. It was recently announced that Broadway will return on September 14th. Several shows are opening their doors that very night, while others are opening after the 14th. If you're anything like me and are starting to get confused as to what is opening, coming back, or even still running . . . check out my new fave website: broadwaytheaterdistrict.com for all of the latest Broadway scoop, opening dates, and best restaurants near your theater.
It sounds cheesy, but knowing Broadway is coming back puts a spring in my step. There is a lot of work to do in the community prior to the 14th, but I am feeling optimistic for the first time in . . . well . . . a year.
