Artistic Ventures 🤝 Entrepreneurial Fire

In our fast-paced world, we entrepreneurs are always on the grind, hustling hard, and making things happen. We rock multiple businesses and embrace the chaos like pros. But, you know what? There's a secret sauce that often gets overlooked amidst our crazy entrepreneurial adventures—dabbling in creative projects beyond the business realm. It's like a breath of fresh air for the soul and a serious boost to our professional journeys.

Sometimes, unleashing your artistic side is the BEST thing you can do as an entrepreneur. In fact, I've discovered that it's fuel for my entrepreneurial spirit. (As cheesy as it sounds, it's true!) 

I recently produced an Off-Broadway immersive experience with my Murder Mystery Company, Broadway Murder Mysteries, and it was the most fun I've had in years! To see the words I wrote, the characters I created, and the show that I produced, put up in an iconic Off-Broadway house, was nothing short of inspiring. 

Did I have a lot of help? Yes. Is it important to have collaborators on a project of this scale? Of course. Did I still feel that sense of pride seeing my show poster in the light box outside the theater? You BET!

When you dive headfirst into creative projects, whether it's painting, writing, or getting crafty with your coloring books (shameless plug), you're breaking free from the monotony. Especially as Artists first, and Entrepreneurs second, it's important to scratch the artistic itch once in awhile to remember why you love this business in the first place! 

When you venture into the artsy world, you're pushing yourself out of that comfy bubble. You're picking up new skills, broadening your horizons, and gaining fresh perspectives. It's like taking a journey of self-discovery that makes you a more kickass individual and an even better leader.

The best part? Engaging in creative projects is your secret weapon against burnout. It's like an outlet for self-expression and stress relief. By finding that sweet balance between your entrepreneurial drive and creative pursuits, you're preventing burnout like a pro.
