What Are Your 2026 Goals? (Yes, 2026)

Happy New Year!

I don’t know about you, but I’m feeling ready to tackle this New Year head-on!

And as every good entrepreneur does, I’ve been setting goals for each of my companies and coming up with a plan to action them. 

But, the goals I’ve set aren’t for 2023. 

Nope. 

They’re not even for 2024 or 2025. 

I’m looking three years into the future and planning for where I want to be in 2026! 

Why? 

Because there’s only so much you can accomplish in 12 months. But there’s A LOT you can do in 12 quarters. 

Imagine where you could be in 2026 and the life you want to live. Maybe you want to be able to quit your day job and focus on your art full-time. Or you want to be able to pick and choose which gigs you take because you don’t need them to pay your rent. Or maybe you want to sit on the board of some amazing organization! 

Whatever your dream is, it takes vision and a plan. 

So, how do you figure out how to get what you want when it seems so far out of reach right now? 

Cue the “how we get there plan” (HWGT for short).

The HWGT plan is broken down into 6 key areas of business:

• Customer acquisition channels
• Fulfillment and production
• Products and Services
• Team and organization
• Customer avatar
• Model/Brand

And then a prioritized list of initiatives that need to happen in each area to reach your 2026 goals.

In order to achieve the life I want to live in 2026, a lot is going to have to change about who my businesses serve, how we serve them, and the systems we have in place for just about every aspect of each business. 

And if I tried to get this all done in 12 months, I think I’d go bald and have no staff (or wife) left at the end of the year.
