10 Apps I Use In A Day

Apr 23, 2021

As I’ve mentioned in previous blogs, I am a rather curious person. I like to know what programs, apps, books, etc. people in the entrepreneurial space are reading and using. I figured some of you may be like me and may want to know what apps and tools I use throughout the work day . . .

I listed 10 apps below, but I promise you there are way more that I'm spacing on at the moment.

Please DM me if you use any of these apps, or have other recommendations @bigleapbrands!

1. Asana - My holy grail. My tried and true. My everything. Without Asana, I would be lost. I frankly don’t know how I got through a work day without it. I use Asana to organize my daily meeting notes, delegate projects with colleagues, and organize my extremely long to-do list. I HIGHLY recommend this app for all of your project organization needs.

2. Slack - With three different companies AND clients, my cup runneth over with people to communicate with. Slack provides a space for me to jot down a quick thought or send my colleague an important document or even a silly gif if I feel like it! It’s a great way to connect colleagues and get everyone on the same page.

3. Zapier - This is one of my faves. Zapier makes integrations painless. If you can’t figure out an integration, I guarantee Zapier can. If you’re looking for a tool to make your life easier . . . Zapier is #1 in my book.

4. Instagram - I post on Instagram at least once a day to build brand consistency. I also use it to connect with people throughout the day: I LOVE to see what other peeps are up to.

5. Facebook - Oof. Facebook might be tied with Zapier. I have my Facebook open and running all day every day. I use it to run ads for multiple businesses, share content to my pages, and post in various groups. There isn’t a day, or hour really, that goes by where I’m not using Facebook.

6. Infusionsoft - If you’re looking for a way to automate your email campaigns, try using Infusionsoft. I use it for multiple businesses and consider myself an automation pro because of it’s sleek and easy to use software.

7. Zoom - I’m sure we’ve all gotten nice and friendly with Zoom over the past year and a half! I use Zoom to connect with my colleagues daily and host all of my client meetings. It is my go-to virtual video-chatting app.

8. Kajabi - I have a love hate relationship with Kajabi. While it has incredible hosting capabilities, sometimes the software is incredibly confusing. My website is powered by Kajabi, and if you haven’t checked it out . . . CLICK HERE because it is pretty darn cute.

9. Google Drive - I didn't even realize how much I use Google Drive until I sat down to make this list. For my businesses it’s the easiest way to share and store documents. I use Google Sheets, Docs, and Slides a million times a day. TRULY.

10. Spotify - Lastly, we have my music app that I can’t go without. When I am not in meetings, I love to turn on my favorite music and get #werk done. How many of you have #werk playlists? Feel free to DM me with your favorites!

Again, let me know if you use these apps or have recommendations for even better apps ;)
